Customs & Duty

All Non-UK orders will be subject to VAT, Duty & Disbursement / Clearance fees by your Country. Please see you local excise & import rules for more information.  

Following the UK leaving the European Union, we still continue to ship products to Europe however there may be some additional charges when your order arrives.

All products on our website are displayed with the VAT price included. Once you select your destination country on the basket / checkout page, the product prices will be displayed excluding VAT if you are located in one of the affected countries. 

You will not be charged any additional cost by us for VAT and import charges, but this will be payable upon arrival of your order by local customs rather than Riverside Distribution Ltd T/A Vapour Depot. 

With the agreed trade deal between the UK and the EU, anyone who orders in the countries affected will now be responsible for the following charges. 

Northern Ireland is not affected as we still charge VAT to orders shipping there. 

VAT Charges

Previously, you would have paid VAT whenever you placed on order on our website. This is now payable once the order arrives in your destination country.

Customs Duty

For any product that has been manufactured outside of the UK, you may be liable to pay customs duty once your order arrives in your destination country. We list the country of new
in on all of our products under the Product Attributes tab. 

Upon the arrival of your order in the destination country, the courier will be provided with a commercial invoice with the full details of your order contents. We can also supply a copy of this directly to you upon request. If you would like a copy, please contact us via the Contact Us page.

Courier Disbursement Charges

Depending on which courtier you have selected for your order, you may be charged a disbursement fee. This will be a flat percentage of your order value with a minimum cost. These charges can be found below.

Charges may be changed by the couriers at any time without notice. We are not responsible any disbursement charges.
