What is a refillable pod kit?

A refillable pod kit is a small MTL device with a rechargeable battery and a pod you fill yourself. Charge the kit. Fill the pod with 10ml nic salt. Swap the pod when it tastes burnt. You keep the battery.

Closed pods versus refillable pods

A refillable pod is an empty pod you fill from a 10ml bottle. That is this category. When the coil is done, you buy a new empty pod. The kit stays.

A closed or prefilled pod comes filled. You clip it on, run it, and bin the pod. Those kits sit under prefilled pod kits. The pods sit under prefilled pod

Fill through the bung or side port to just under the top. Do not flood it. Let a new pod sit a few minutes before you vape it, so the cotton wets. Top up before it runs dry.

Swap the pod when flavour drops or it tastes burnt. Replacement empties live under replacement pods. Match the pod to the kit. An XLIM pod is not an XROS pod.

OXVA XLIM, Vaporesso XROS or Aspire Gotek?

XLIM if you want a slightly heavier kit with more control. The Pro 2 is the one people buy for that. The Go 2 is the cheaper, simpler XLIM.

XROS if you want a slim kit and a straightforward draw. The XROS 5 is the current full-size. The Mini is the smaller battery.

Gotek if you want a simple Aspire. The Gotek X is the basic one. The X 3 is the newer take on the same idea. All three families take the 10ml salts above.

What about older kits we no longer stock?

We do not stock Augvape, the SMOK Nord 4, or the Caliburn KOKO. Those names were leftover from an older version of this page. If you still have one, it may take nic salts, but we are not selling those kits and we do not have parts on the shelf.

Delivery and what to add in the basket

Free UK delivery over £20. A kit plus three bar salts on 3 for £10 usually clears that on its own.

Add the kit from this grid. Add the salts from bar salts or nicotine salts. Add a spare pod if you want one in the drawer. That is the order.

Why a refillable kit instead of a single-use bar?

UK law caps a prefilled device at 2ml. Single-use bars came off the shelves. A refillable pod kit plus 10ml salts is the replacement: same MTL draw, you refill the pod, you keep the battery.
